Carol Ofori is a seasoned broadcaster and qualified journalist with an Honours degree in Brand Management from Vega School of Branding. She was previously known as Carol Ralefeta. Carol has been a radio presenter since 2001 having started her career on RAU Radio (now UJ FM) , then moved on to Kaya Fm where she did a learnership programme. From there she joined Joburg based radio station 947, and spent just under 8 years there as a journalist and later a presenter. She then moved on to Metro FM where she hosted the Saturday lunchtime show called the Divine Edge and was with Metro FM for 3 years. Now she is currently the Coca Cola TOP 40 presenter on Saturdays on East Coast Radio 10am to 2 pm, and also does the Entertainment Report on Damon Beards show at 9:40am.
Carol is also a renowned voice over artist and was the voice of MNET’S recent BlackOut channel, and currently is doing several; promo’s and line ups for DSTV. She is currently the voice of Game stores and Tile Africa to name a few. Carol has voiced many television and radio commercials during her 12 year span as a voice artist – having done commercials for Mango Airlines, ABSA, Parmalat, Cadbury, Barclays, Standard Bank, Super Sport, Trace Mobile, Jet, Edgars, Furniture City, Bears, SABC2, Sun International to name a few.
Carol has also appeared on season 1 and 2 of Vuzu show 10 over 10 as a contributor and on the top ten chart. She also contributed on SABC3 Entertainment Show Flash and been the “voice of god” at the 2014 MTV Mama’s as well as the 2014 South African Music Awards.
